SUMMARY:Be prepared\, land the job: Using library resources to support your job interviews
DESCRIPTION:Preparing for a job or internship interview? Whatever your 
 field of study\, stand out in your interviews\, or networking events by 
 knowing your prospective employer’s industry\, customers and corporate 
 reputation.\n\nJoin the TMU Library for an online workshop on business 
 resources for everyone. In this informal session\, learn to quickly find 
 credible and up-to-date information to engage in insightful conversations 
 during your interview and networking. Get hands-on practice with specialty 
 databases and walk away with practical information you can use: company 
 profiles\, competitors\, how market trends are shifting\, relevant trends 
 on consumer behavior\, and more. \n\nExpectations for Participants: The 
 session is designed to be interactive\, and collaborative. You will be 
 invited to actively participate through virtual breakout rooms\, screen 
 sharing\, and working in small groups.\n\nA note for the 
 group-activity-averse: If you usually shy away from group work\, please 
 don’t let the mention of breakout rooms deter you. The group portion will 
 be brief\, just around 15 minutes\, and we’ve designed it to be light\, 
 and manageable. No pressure\, no overwhelm. Promise.\n\nYou will 
 be:\n\n\n	Put into small groups: 2 - 4 people max\n	Working collaboratively 
 on a specific activity so you can help each other if there are questions 
 that arise\, and finish quicker\n	Not required to socialize or turn on your 
 cameras\, unless you want to\n\n\nTech check: If you are comfortable\, we 
 would love to see your shining face and hear your beautiful voice. Please 
 ensure that at minimum\, you have a stable internet connection with 
 audio/mic capabilities with minimal background noise.  \n\nWho can join: 
 This session is open to all current TMU graduate and undergraduate 
 students\, no matter your program or area of study. Everyone’s
