From Results to Relevance: Mastering the Screening Phase Online
Once you have retrieved results, what next? How do you determine which results to use, and which to discard? This session will focus on how to manage your results, and evaluate and screen results for relevance, based on your inclusion / exclusion criteria. Depending on the nature of your research project, screening can be a flexible, iterative process, or highly formalized. Managing your results can involve exporting from databases and the use of tools such as citation managers and evidence synthesis software such as Covidence, now available through TMU Libraries.
This is the third session in the Library Research and Scholarly Publishing in Health and Medicine series, From PICO to Publish. A recording of the session will be made available to those who register for the session.
