SUMMARY:Defining an Answerable Question: Identifying Gaps in the Literature\, PICO\, and FINER
DESCRIPTION:Identifying a research interest\, and transforming it into a
researchable question is key to a successful outcome - but can be one of
the most challenging parts of the research process. In this session\,
we’ll discuss how to identify a topic of interest\, develop a research
question and identify core concepts using popular frameworks such as PICO\,
as well as evaluating the quality of your research question with the FINER
criteria. The role of pre-searching library resources to help identify
gaps in research will also be discussed. \n\nThis is the first session in
the Library Research and Scholarly Publishing in Health and Medicine
series\, From PICO to Publish. A recording of the session will be made
available to those who register for the session. \n\n
