Specialized Equipment Safety Training Consultation and Orientation Sessions In-Person

This specialized Equipment Safety Training Consultation and Orientation Session is a beginner-friendly tool orientation for projects completed in the lab. This orientation is helpful for those with projects that require the use of  specialized tools (i.e. hand drill, impact driver, handheld rotary tool). Bring your project to this orientation session with the DME Technician to go over your project needs, assess the best tool for it, and undergo training. During this tool training you will learn the health and safety requirements for your tool and how to safely operate it.

Important Notice: This workshop requires enrolling in TMU's Machine and Equipment Safety training Module, as well as signing the DME's Lab Activities Waiver.

 

In this orientation session the Technician can orient you in the safe use of the following tools*:
