Creating Multimedia OERs: Finding Content, Licensing and Tools Online

One of the joys of creating an Open Educational Resource (OER) is the ability to incorporate a variety of content types beyond text. From audio and video, to graphics and interactive components, the possibilities are vast and can help students engage with the content in multiple ways. In this workshop, explore the various tools and options available to help you build open-access works that can be shared and remixed by others. Learn about copyright and licensing to find resources that you can use for free!

This is a 2026 Open Education Week event. Come celebrate with us.

Join a co-lead Workshop by CELT Instructional Designer Sally Goldberg Powell and Librarians Ann Ludbrook and MacKenzie Gott
