DME 101: Makerspace Tours In-Person

Whether you're working on a course project, passion project or just looking to explore technology in an inviting workspace, TMU Libraries' Digital Media Experience Lab has your creation needs covered. At this interactive tour, DME staff will orient your through our SLC 308 lab space, our workshop offerings, and discuss how to book lab equipment. Noteworthy stops on the tour will be the:

  1. Textiles & sewing area.
  2. SLC 508 green screen and podcasting studio.
  3. Glowforge laser cutter.
  4. 3D printing area.
  5. High performance media editing computers.
  6. Cricut vinyl cutter.
  7. Soldering & electronics workstations.
