Introduction to ArcGIS Online In-Person

Step into the cloud and discover how easy (and fun!) it is to make maps online. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the power of ArcGIS Online, Esri’s web-based mapping platform, to create, customize, and share interactive maps right from your browser.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Access and add data layers from ArcGIS Online’s vast library

  • Symbolize and style your map to highlight patterns and trends

  • Explore attributes and pop-ups to make your map informative and engaging

  • Share your interactive map with classmates, colleagues, or the world

By the end of the session, you’ll have built your first interactive web map and picked up the skills to keep experimenting on your own. No previous GIS experience needed—just bring your curiosity!
