Introduction to ArcGIS Pro In-Person

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)! In this hands-on workshop, we’ll take you step by step through the essentials of working with spatial data in ArcGIS Pro. Whether you’re brand new to GIS or just looking to strengthen your foundation, this session will give you the skills to start making your own maps.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Unzip and load data into ArcGIS Pro

  • Explore and symbolize layers to make your map come to life

  • Read and understand attribute tables (your data behind the map)

  • Design and export a professional map you can share with others

By the end, you’ll walk away with your very own map project and the confidence to keep exploring what GIS can do. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to experiment!
