Studio Photography Fundamentals / SLC 508 Orientation In-Person
This hands-on workshop will guide beginner to intermediate level studio users through how to use lighting equipment and common camera configurations in the TMU Libraries' Media Creation Studio located in SLC 508. Specific emphasis will be placed on lighting and portrait photography techniques.

By the end of this workshop, learners will be able to operate lighting equipment and use camera setups for portrait photography.
Equipment covered includes:
- Godox DP400III-V studio flash
- Godox X3 wireless flash trigger
- Sony A7III
- Softboxes
- Light stands
This is a mandatory workshop for learners interested in using flash photography kits at in the SLC 508 Media Creation Studio.
