Handsewing is an essential ability that many of us have yet to  pick up. Come by the DME to level up your life skills! This workshop will cover the basic skills needed to mend and alter clothes and other items.

 

Included in this workshop:

 

  • Running stitch, backstitch and whipstitch
  • How to attach a button
  • How to sew on a patch
  • How to connect seams
  • How to fasten off your work
