TMU Libraries Orientation In-Person

Get a head start on preparing for your academic research, or get inspired by the Libraries' 360º cameras, 3D printers, knitting machines, and other tech.

Join us in the north end of the Ronald D. Besse Information and Learning Commons, the open area with computer stations on the main floor of the TMU Library, and learn how librarians will work with you to transform ideas into questions; take those questions and help you find useful academic resources; and take those resources and show you how to navigate and apply them to your work.

Fun fact: Through TMU Libraries you can also stream videos from the Criterion and Kanopy collections, and borrow board games, laptops, microphones, tripods, and more.

This workshop offers you the opportunity to earn a badge that recognizes your achievements.
