What Will You Learn in This Workshop:
In this TMU Library workshop, library users will learn the basics of how laser cutting works as well as the workflow for cutting on DME-provided materials (cardboard and acrylic). This beginner-oriented workshop includes vector-based designs, machine specifications and safety, as well as a demonstration where learners will produced their own laser-cut keychain.
You will learn on a Glowforge laser cutter.
Please Note: you must complete this workshop at least a week before your first laser cutting booking. You will be required to pass a certification test to be eligible to book this specialized resource.
