Scan Your 3D Twin @ The DME In-Person
In this beginner-level workshop, DME staff will guide you through all you need to know to use the Polycam app to 3D scan yourself. Optionally, you'll be able to 3D print a miniature bust of yourself at the Lab.
You'll leave this session having gained the hands-on skills needed to:
- Scan, edit, and 3D print a miniature, 3D-scanned version of yourself.
- Prepare (slice) models for 3D printing at the DME Lab.
- Be able to understand 3D printing concepts and materials at a beginner level.
- Understand and model TMU Libraries' acceptable use policies for 3D printing.
