Make Your Digital Twin @ The DME

Make Your Digital Twin @ The DME In-Person

In this beginner-level workshop, DME staff will guide you through all you need to know to use the Polycam app to 3D scan yourself, or an object of your choosing. Optionally, you'll be able to 3D print a minature bust of yourself at the Lab.

You'll leave this session having gained the hands-on skills needed to:

  1. Scan, edit, and 3D print a miniature, 3D-scanned version of yourself.
  2. Prepare (slice) models for 3D printing at the DME Lab.
  3. Be able to understand 3D printing concepts and materials at a beginner level.
  4. Understand and model TMU Libraries' acceptable use policies for 3D printing.
