James manages programs and services offered at the Libraries' DME lab. He is responsible for the DME’s technology infrastructure, workshop offerings, lab projects, and for supervising lab staff. As a lifelong maker, James is passionate about connecting library patrons to amazing technology and support.

Introduction to 3D Printing In-Person
This beginner-level workshop will teach learners how to operate Bambu Labs A1 model printers at the DME independently, with limited staff assistance. Attendees will leave this workshop with a practical understanding of how to:
- Setup, load and configure Babmu Labs A1 printing equipment.
- Optimally slice gcode for additive fabrication and 3D printing workflows.
- Safely operate 3D printing equipment.
- Model TMU Libraries acceptable use policies.
