Research-Creation for Grad Students In-Person
This workshop is an introduction to Research-Creation, the intersection of making, theory, and research. This session examines how participants can apply creative and practice-based research,no matter the discipline.
As the understanding of knowledge generation and knowledge translation in academia evolve, opportunities for alternative forms of research and dissemination are rapidly expanding. How can researchers and emerging scholars incorporate these sometimes radical ideas into projects, theses, dissertations, and grant proposals? How can interdisciplinary collaboration enhance research? Students, staff and faculty from all backgrounds and fields are welcome. Participants are invited (but not required) to bring ideas, questions, and works in progress.
No prior experience with research-creation is necessary.
Please note: Library Collaboratory workshop instructors will not sign attendance forms for courses.
