Amplifying Your Global Research Profile: Insights from FEAS, TRSM, and The Creative School, Part I

Amplifying Your Global Research Profile: Insights from FEAS, TRSM, and The Creative School, Part I Online

Are you an early-career faculty member eager to grow your international research footprint? As part of International Education Week 2025, join us for the first of a two-part Brown Bag series, a dynamic virtual panel discussion that showcases what counts as impactful scholarship on the global stage.

Moderated by TMU’s Research Impact Librarian, Dr. Toby Malone, this session will spotlight faculty voices from FEAS (Dr. Ahmed Shaker), TRSM (Dr. Michael
Mihalicz), and The Creative School (Debashis Sinha), each sharing how they’ve leveraged both traditional outputs, like peer-reviewed publications, and non-traditional contributions, including creative works, policy engagement, and community-based research, to expand networks, strengthen global partnerships, and raise their international profiles.

You’ll leave with practical strategies for aligning your research practices with TMU’s International Plan, Strategic Research Plan, and Academic Plan, while positioning yourself to lead in an increasingly interconnected world.

Don’t miss part one this fall, and stay tuned for the second virtual event in the winter to keep building your global research momentum.
